Mike Crawley

Lecturer

Mike has been involved in the digital media industry since 1994. He started his career with a marine electronics company (ITIM Systems) designing and making electronics and developing interactive product simulations. In 2004 Mike worked as an art room manager and head artist for Sunprints, a large t-shirt manufacturing and design company. He created designs for the Australian tourist industry and corporate designs for companies such as: Dreamworld, Underwater World and Griffith University.

Mike has over 13 years of experience working in Education, first working in the TAFE system where he was involved in all facets of preparation, delivery and assessment across a wide variety of disciplines and programs in screen & media, graphic design, photography and multimedia, ranging from Partnership with Schools (PWS), Certificate III, IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma.

Mike was instrumental in helping establish Australian Institute of Advanced Studies in 2014 by creating the company website, signage and marketing materials and being involved in promotional opportunities to build a client base through volunteering at events including careers expos, information nights, open days and other events for the institute.
